About this ebook

Wendy isn't as blind as a bat--there are bats that can see better than she can. Which is why, when her new glasses break, she's all too happy to wear the dorky pair of sunglasses she finds on the lawn. They seem to match her prescription, and that's all that matters if she's going to be able to make it through her school day.

But the glasses correct her vision too much. She begins to see things that no one else can see: cheerful corpses, frightening crones disguised as teenyboppers, and portals to other worlds--places where people are all too aware of the magical properties of her new shades . . . and will do anything to get them.

  • Seeing the Unseen: With a pair of dorky sunglasses, Wendy’s vision goes from blurry to bizarre. Suddenly, the most popular girl in school looks like a terrifying old crone, and cheerful ghosts are hanging out on street corners.
  • Portal Fantasy: The glasses don’t just reveal what’s hidden in her high school—they open up portals to Kazaran Dahaani, a world of elven politics, magic, and danger she’s not remotely prepared for.
  • Elves Among Us: She soon learns that the school’s most popular girl and the quiet new boy aren’t human. They’re elves tangled in a conspiracy, and her new glasses just made her their number one target.
  • Reluctant Hero: Wendy never asked to be a hero—she just wanted to survive biology class. But when an elf prince is captured, she’s the only one who can help, whether she likes it or not.

Its a good book though I was not able to read all of it due to limited preview. Though not quite up to the mark but still you will enjoy reading it, teenagers would like it specifically specially those in their early teens. Its enjoyable I don't know if it would get better i the end but uptil the part the preview was available, thats all I can comment on.
