Loved the story of Maxwell and Gabriella! He's hell bent on revenge for Gabriella's grandfather "stealing" the manor they live in from Maxwell's Grandfather and using Gabriella to accomplish that. The twists and turns that follow were fun to read as well as Gabriella trying to always take the high road in any situation. I liked that she slowly fell in love and we got to watch. Loved the story and the ending was perfect! Thank you for the advanced copy, and the ending sentence of the book was perfection!

What Would A Duke Do is book 4 in the Seductive Scoundrel’s series by Collette Cameron. I really enjoyed this book. This is one of my favorite romance tropes - enemies to lovers. Cameron paints a delightful picture adding humor in splashes here and there. I enjoyed Maxwell the Duke of Pennington’s character. He is funny and droll at times in his verbal sword playing with the heroine Gabriella. “How could she ever have thought the Duke of Pennington amusing or charming? Enthralling. Fascinating. Wholly extraordinary. His black lashed eyes were quite extraordinary. Never before had she seen anyone with two different colored eyes. They enhanced the air of mystery surrounding him. As if he were privy to a secret no one else knew. She’d seen it in the way he observed her through his heavy lidded smoldering eyes.” Gabriella is fiercely loyal to her family but finds herself inextricably drawn to her enemy the Duke. Loved it!!! I was gifted a copy of this book.

Maxwell, the Duke of Pennington finds himself drawn Miss Gabriella Breckensole who is astonished when the enigmatic Duke of Pennington turns his romantic attentions on her. Debonair and confident, he set her heart fluttering from their first meeting. Far beneath his station, Gabby never hoped to win his favour, and she soon risks losing her heart to the roguish lord. Until she attends a house party over Christmas & accidentally overhears Maxwell vowing to return her familial home to his dukedom and learns his courtship is a revenge-filled ploy. Another lovely romance, Maxwell & Gabriella are drawn to each other but after the party she tries to distance herself from him but the attraction is strong. Maxwell has found evidence of her grandfather Henry’s behaviour but not everything is as it seems! Strong characters & witty dialogue all make for a very entertaining read, throw in a well paced story & you know you're going to love the story. This is the fourth book in the series & all the books do stand alone but we do get to catch up with characters from previous books & teasers are dropped for future books. I can highly recommend the author’s books as her turn of phrase is inspiring My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
