Most of the stories were good, but others no so much. The final story kept switching perspectives too much and made it confusing to read, another story didn't make any sense as a whole, and some ended way too early, but overall it was still a decent read.

I loved it. I realized how the monstrous affections often hide in the protagonists' undiscovered subconsciousness and inner pleasures. The stories are heartwarming and entertaining. I mean, it's weird and uncanny, but this world is strange, so why question a person with no facial features?

Kelly Link and Gavin J. Grant edited the acclaimed anthology Steampunk! They also started a zine, founded an independent publishing house, own two letterpresses, and edited the fantasy half of The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror for five years. Kelly Link is the author of three acclaimed short story collections, and her award-winning stories have appeared in many anthologies. Gavin J. Grant has published numerous articles and short stories. They live in Northampton, Massachusetts, with their daughter, Ursula.
