This fun and spooky chapter book series is perfect for growing readers in first or second grade.

What's lurking in the basement?

Araminta thinks something horrible is hiding in the deep, hidden passages of Spookie House—could it be a werewolf? Then Max, Uncle Drac's creepy nephew, arrives and Araminta is sure he's up to no good. Araminta comes up with a plan to figure out what Max is up to—and also to capture the werewolf. But will it work?

  • Mystery for Kids: Araminta turns detective to uncover two secrets: Who is the werewolf in the basement, and what is her creepy cousin Max *really* up to?
  • Friendship Stories: Best friends Araminta and Wanda have a new mission, but when Wanda seems to like the new vampire brat, their teamwork is put to the test.
  • Funny Chapter Book: Full of laugh-out-loud moments, from a bat poo business to a ghost wolf named Fang and a very grumpy cat with a secret of her own.
  • Spooky Stories for Kids: Join the adventure in the winding corridors of Spookie House, where friendly ghosts, nice vampires, and one very suspicious new relative make every night an adventure.

Almost most of your fans preferred the old illustrations. It's more of the Araminta Spookie which i used to know. And one thing. You change the name to SPOOK instead of spookie. I hated that. I want the old Araminta. And now with araminta at Gargoyle hall, it's very boring. The stories are flat. Unlike the other with aunt tabby, brenda, uncle drac, morris, its much more fun. I hope you can change that Araminta goes to school everyday but comes home on weekends. Please read & reply! -AramintaSpookie lover.
