About this ebook

Keith Ward is one of the world's most distinguished theologians, particularly appreciated for his books popularizing theology.

Here, he and award-winning scholar and teacher, Ian Markham, draw us into a humbly-undertaken yet compelling search for answers to the many difficult questions facing faith.

For example:

How can a loving God permit horrendous suffering?
Why does God seem to help some people but not others?
How do we come up with a morally serious yet compassionate theology of sex?
Why does God seem to want us to flatter the divine ego when we worship?
Do animals have a soul?
Will God save aliens in outer space as well as human beings?
Are Satan and demons real?
Is eternal life going to be really boring?

Through the authors' distinctive and highly enjoyable mix of interview and seeker-friendly text, we find an account of faith emerging that is mature, credible and deeply enriching.
