When Summer Finds Us
About this ebook
Sue Williams rebuilt her life from heartbreak. After losing her husband six years ago, the respected nursing director poured her energy into Diamond Beach Medical Center. Love isn't an option—until she comes face-to-face with the man she rejected decades ago.
Rick Miller never believed in second chances. Thirty-five years in the Marines taught him life moves forward, never back. When Rick returns to his Florida Panhandle hometown of Diamond Beach after his mother collapses, the past crashes into him with the force of a Gulf hurricane.
Sue's protective friends, and Rick's demons from combat, threaten to come between them and happiness. As Diamond Beach glitters around them—from swaying palms to elegant beachfront restaurants—can two people find the courage to open their hearts again?
A second chance, silver fox, older couple romance.
