About this ebook

A gripping crime thriller set in the stunning Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand.

Nick Chester is a sergeant for the Havelock police. Life in the remote Marlborough Sounds is paradise—unless you're hiding from a ruthless man with a grudge. Then, remote beauty has its own kind of danger.

When two locals vanish and their bodies are found, Chester must confront a chilling possibility: a Pied Piper is at large. As he investigates, he uncovers a web of small-town secrets, police corruption, and a past that refuses to stay buried. Can Chester protect his family and bring a killer to justice, or will the darkness of the Marlborough Sounds consume them all?

For readers who enjoy atmospheric crime fiction, complex characters, and stories that explore the dark side of paradise.
