Twist I did not see coming. Ashton heads back home to find a war dog and clean up his grandmother's mess. I forgot it was a K9 story at the beginning as Ashton is dealing with his dysfunctional family. Crystal (who was adopted) along with the housekeeper Jenny seem to be the only 2 on his side, or willing to listen. There is a lot going on, pretty much nonstop. When Kahn the K9 is found Ashton hopes he can help find his grandfather and the vet Sean. Alot happens at the end. Stay tuned.

This book grabbed my attention on the first page and did not let go till the end. Ashton has agreed to follow up on a missing K-9 named Khan plus there is the added mystery about his grandfather being missing. Ashton is returning to his hometown to answer some old questions as well, however, he didn't expect all the drama he found. It really kept him more than busy and I stayed up very late enjoying every minute of his adventure!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leavin
