About this ebook

DUTY. DESIRE. AND THE DEVOURING DARK.

I’m the Heir to one of the most powerful Moroi Houses.. and my life is crumbling around me.

The political marriage I’d arranged myself turned out to be a disaster. Now I’m back home with my honey-tongued childhood crush... which is rather nice. The only issue is that his best friend, who is as gorgeous as he is infuriating, is my political rival.

Then there’s the Marshal who despises my very existence. Oh, and did I mention that the shadow monsters that plague our lands have found a way past our wards?

As the Harker Heir, it’s my responsibility to figure out why our magic is failing. I can’t afford to let my heart distract me. Not even by the taciturn librarian and their magical ropes. Because those monsters that are breaking into our safe havens? One of our own is helping them.

And if I don’t find the traitor soon, my House and all of Lunaria will fall.

A House of Fangs and Deceit is the first thrilling fantasy romance in the Lunaria Realms series. If you love vampires, court intrigue, and love interests who don’t mind sharing, dive into this spicy why choose romantasy!

This Why Choose Romance has very interesting world building and I am curious to learn more about the creation ritual of the Moroi, Furie and Shifters. I'm not sure which love interest is the most compelling, but they all suit Samarra in various different ways. I also want to know more about the difference between Seelie and Unseelie. That cliff hanging plot twist was "chef kiss" I can not wait to read book two!

About the author

Alex Frost is a queer nonbinary elder millennial who still remembers vividly what it was like to be emotionally damaged by the season two finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They write morally grey characters who fall for equally unhinged morally grey love interests in stories full of action and banter. Also expect supernatural cats to show up in basically every story. When they're not putting their characters through hell, Maddox is playing video games, reading smut, burying their nose in comic books, or hiding behind a pillow while they watch horror movies.
