Love the tales of the old west and this story starts in Richmond, one of my fav historical cities, and travels to the western plains. Great characters and story is told well.

Delicious and fascinating read, I love reading about the old West it seems so real even though I know nothing about the old West, and I know it's all fictional. Cal and Nora's love hate relationship and the relationship with her parents, especially her father was what made the story fascinating to me. Every time I read one of Diana Palmer's books I feel I learn about history or some tidbit of real historical facts. And some of the incidents that happened to some of the characters hit home with me or that happened to me in my life.

shades of Miss Jane Austen with much endowment in sensual, steamy romance!
Will they ever be happy? ... And, Brooks and Dunn? Really, Ms. Palmer? LOL
