About this ebook

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • In this epic fantasy adventure, sides must be chosen in a world on the verge of war—a world full of treacherous betrayals, shocking murders, secret alliances, and even unforeseen love.

“This is one of those series you can't help but be obsessed with.”—Richelle Mead, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series

“Evocative and intricate.”—Publishers Weekly

In the three kingdoms of Mytica, magic has long been forgotten. And while hard-won peace has reigned for centuries, a deadly unrest now simmers below the surface.

Princess: Raised in pampered luxury, Cleo must now embark on a rough and treacherous journey into enemy territory in search of magic long thought extinct.

Rebel: Jonas, enraged at injustice, lashes out against the forces of oppression that have kept his country cruelly impoverished. To his shock, he finds himself the leader of a people’s revolution centuries in the making.

Sorceress: Lucia, adopted at birth into a royal family, discovers the truth about her past—and the supernatural legacy she is destined to wield.

Heir: Bred for aggression and trained to conquer, firstborn son Magnus must be more lethal than the sword.

As the rulers of each kingdom grapple for power, the lives of their subjects are brutally transformed . . . and these four key players, royals and rebels alike, find their fates forever intertwined.

Read the first two of this series only because I spent good money on them. Admittedly, read immediately after Sara J Mass' epic series, it hardly stands a chance. Still, the overdone use of such youth in conflict, naiveté and excessive clichés made this one cringeworthy. Unless you're in the mood for teenage live-theatre exaggerated drama... avoid.

The best way to describe the feel of this series is like reading a soap opera. Story could have been completed in 3 books, not 6. Very anticlimactic ending.

One of the best fantasy series I have read so far. It's full of amazing characters, and the storyline is just beatiful. A bit predictable at times, but don't let that discourage you. The story is hard to put down once you pick it up. It's addictive and leaves you wanting more.
