About this ebook

Some stories do not end simply because years have passed. Eilidh knows Ardloch better than almost anyone. Between her Tea Room, the rugged coast, familiar village faces and the hydrangeas blooming above the bay, she has built a life that works beautifully. Perhaps a little too beautifully. Then Finlay Kerr comes home. Fifteen years have passed since he left Ardloch—and since something between them was left unfinished. Now Finlay has returned to restore the old boathouse by the bay, insisting that he will only stay for a few months. But old memories have a way of returning with familiar places. Through quiet moments, sharp humour and a closeness neither of them expected, Eilidh begins to wonder whether the past is truly as far behind her as she once believed. At the same time, Ardloch Coast Flowers faces a new challenge. Tempting offers threaten the fragile unity of the community, while an unexpected discovery in the old boathouse hints at secrets buried for decades. As the hydrangeas above the bay shift colour with the changing soil, Eilidh must decide how much of her life has truly been her own choice—and whether some second chances arrive only after we have stopped waiting for them. Hydrangeas Over the Bay is Book Two of The Flowers of Ardloch, an atmospheric story of homecoming, missed chances, courage and a love that never quite disappeared.
