Reckless

At thirty years of age, Kelly has waited for Mr. Right; yet, for all her dating, she's found nothing but toads. While Xerses' family start stitching the family tapestry (figuratively) to incorporate Kelly into the fabric of this Persian family, Kelly's friends demand answers. Threading the needle will take Kelly's upmost diligence not to become Cinderella where the prince swoops in to save her from her imperfect life. Victoria Pinder is a talented writer that I have followed a number of years. A few years ago she took time off from writing and I was glad when she returned with new and entertaining material. The witty word exchanges between Kelly's witty remarks are and Xerses is charmed. This was a fun series as I read about each of the brothers, their place in the family, their quirks and their own pursuit of their own love interests. This is a stand-alone book but in my opinion, it is better when read as a whole series. 4 stars
