About this ebook
Basil is a Chameleon Dragon.
He came from a long line of Chameleon Dragons that change colour based on their surroundings. Chameleon dragons are not typical dragons, camouflage keeps them hidden and safe from their enemies, other dragons. Instead of breathing fire, and destroying all and sundry, as well as becoming a menace to the world. Basil the Chameleon Dragon can suck huge amounts of water to douse the fires created by other dragons. Chameleon Dragons do not hoard gold, and they do not sleep most of the time. Instead, Chameleon Dragons are active and law-bidding. They lead a full and useful life and no destructiveness in their nature.
Basil befriends Tima the young boy and takes him under his wing. But Tima has a dark hidden secret.
Basil lives with Prof the Monkey, and Mrs. Messi the tiny mouse, in a house next door to the fire station.

About the Author
It has always been a passion of mine to write. This is the right time in my life to sit down and pick up the pen. After years of traveling like a gypsy around this beautiful planet, we all have the privilege to experience each day, I started to write and publish children’s stories, mythical stories, stories that are inspired by poems, Chicken Soup stories, and stories from my adventurous past. It’s time in my life to be creative, and to use my imagination. I hope you find some pleasure in my scribblings, and dear readers, thank you for your time. Kindly provide your feedback. With the first step taken, like a lot of my life, I don’t have any idea where the journey will take me.
This was written at the beginning of my journey a number of years ago, and writing, reading, and studying new ideas and concepts have now consumed my every waking thought. I have accomplished the milestone of publishing over 100 unique stories of various sizes, mostly short stories of many genres.
