This is a great novel set in the early 20th century. It forewarns of a horrible future where the meek working men barely manage to stay alive under harsh conditions in an almost slave role. And the Capitalists rule over them in magnificent cities. It tells the tale of a group of revolutionists who begin to change this horrid world into a socialist utopia. Even though this book was written in 1907, it is easy to see many correlations between this dystopian world and our current state of affairs. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes in a socialist way of life, or even if you just enjoy a good alternate universe look at the way things could have been.

An excellent dystopian novel. Much more political than others, but makes some interesting points which can be applied to more recent times.
