About this ebook

MUST HATE DOGS
Do you hate dogs? Only want to talk about yourself? Is having a sense of humor something you’ve never been accused of? Think eating for pleasure is a complete waste of time? Agree that tipping is for suckers? Then you’re the date for me.

Dixon Beckett is the kind of guy who loves his mama, treats women right, and never ever wants to fall in love again. That’s why he’ll do anything to win a bet to be the last single man standing by Christmas.

He’s got a plan, too. Create the most no-good, horrible, very bad dating profile in existence. Only someone actually responds to his ad...

The rules say he has to go on six dates with the first (or in his case, only) person who answers—even if that person is Fiona Hartigan: Hater of dogs, non-lover of any delicious food, and zero sense of humor.

But something feels off about this pariah. In fact, Dixon is almost positive Fiona is just pretending to be awful. Pretending to be the most horrible date in existence. And she’s most definitely pretending to not be as interested in him as he is in her.

The more Dixon Beckett starts to unravel the mystery of why Fiona answered his ad in the first place, the more he starts considering the most vile, awful, terrible idea ever...falling in love.

Any book with a Hannigan is going to be funny and wild. I loved the start of this series and the introduction to this new family. The crossover of a couple of my favorite AF series leading into a new one kept me wanting more from Dixon and Fiona. From the absolutely ridiculous online dating profile to the antics of the Beckett family were a lot of fun to read. I love how this series was set up and I can't wait for the next cousin to get his HEA!

I enjoyed reading Mama’s Boy by Avery Flynn, the book one in her Last Man Standing series. Dixon Beckett, the CEO of Beckett Cosmetics and always has to Win. To Win at life, at work, and especially over his cousins, Nash and Griff. It seems to be the family motto. When his beloved grandmother dies, leaving only one last wrapped Christmas gift, they decide to have a last man standing dating contest where they each have six dates with the first person responding to their profile on a dating app; and Dixon's is horrible. The best part, his cousins get to plan the dates and Dixon wants to win the gift. Fiona Hartigan is a third grade teacher who can't seem to find a decent man. Since she no longer trusts herself, Fiona decides to channel her sisters; maybe then she can attract the right man. She seems to be drawn to worst of the worst when she sees the horrid Dixon is on the app; well a girl needs revenge to keep her warm at night. She just needs to pretend to be the complete opposite of who she really is.. She's been trying to get a meeting with Dixon, the CEO of Beckett Cosmetics, about her grandmother's skin care line but he's canceled every time. Maybe she could use the dates to get a chance to pitch the skin care line? I love a fake relationship story line. I was glad that Fiona found out early on about what was going on, it made it easier to figure out that neither of them was stringing the other along. Both families are complete nuts. The Hartigans are great protectors, even if the protectee doesn’t need them. The Becketts might be rivals but each one has found their own niche in the family firm so they're not out for blood rivals; just sibling rivalry pranks. Ms. Flynn wrote a wonderful, fun, enjoyable romantic story that filled with sizzling chemistry, clever banter, and entertaining secondary characters that should definitely not be missed. I highly recommend Mama’s Boy to other readers and look forward to Nash and Griff's books. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Mama’s Boy is the first book in a promising new series from Ms Flynn. Its a rather entertaining story with good banter, outrageous witty moments and family who tell it like it is! I enjoyed reading about Dixon and his bet with his cousins but also when he meets Fiona Hartigan, lets just say the funny moments are rather up there. I may have been anxious about Fiona’s story but what I really loved was her family’s unwavering support and the way she grew. I also rather admired her sass and go get em attitude. What happens when the truth comes out? Or feelings are involved? Will there be a winner after all? Only one way to find out is by reading for yourself. Cant wait for the next book in the series! Bring it on!
