agony to read and sorry I spent money on a book that is mostly horrific precise descriptions of totally mundane actions. how many chapters do we need on every detail of making a sandwich, trying keys in locks, describing a lake and condition of houses? then having the audacity to call good evil and evil good? will be skipping all of the future books! can I get my money back?

Not bad, but also not her best. For as popular as Lisa Jackson is, and for as many books she writes, she could at least hire a decent editor. There are many mistakes in this book, along with some contradictions. It was hard to really like Harper. She is an alcoholic, manipulative, & lies a lot. The book was fast-paced and somewhat thrilling. The action didn't happen until the very end and was short-lived. She has written better books.
