About this ebook

The Other Side of the Wire is a powerful work of WWII historical fiction by New York Times bestselling author Harold Coyle. Set in 1935 Germany, the novel follows a Jewish orphan who must disguise her identity to escape religious persecution and is ultimately adopted by a high-ranking Nazi family. As she struggles with acceptance—both internal and external—her journey becomes one of survival, identity, and quiet defiance within one of history’s most dangerous regimes.

This gripping WWII historical fiction explores rarely seen perspectives of war, religion, gender identity, and the moral complexities of family and belonging. A finalist for the 2021 Best Book Awards in LGBTQ Fiction, The Other Side of the Wire is a haunting and thought-provoking novel that sheds light on hidden truths of the past while resonating with today’s conversations about identity and resilience.
