About this ebook

A Spot of Bother is Mark Haddon’s unforgettable follow-up to the internationally beloved bestseller The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. At sixty-one, George Hall is settling down to a comfortable retirement. When his tempestuous daughter, Katie, announces that she is getting married to the deeply inappropriate Ray, the Hall family is thrown into a tizzy. Unnoticed in the uproar, George discovers a sinister lesion on his hip, and quietly begins to lose his mind. As parents and children fall apart and come together, Haddon paints a disturbing yet amusing portrait of a dignified man trying to go insane politely.

A small British family lives through crisis after synchronous crisis in this droll, very dark comedy. Each member of the family is struggling with their own modern-day version of anguished malaise – deeply embroiled in their own variety of the existential condition. Fear of death, fear of love and the struggles in their relationships vie for attention as the chapters drift back and forth showing each character’s perspective on the conflicts.

This book is the most poopiest book I've ever read. There's poop ALL OVER it. I honestly don't know how anyone could read a book with so much poop on it. I don't even know the name of this book. Everywhere the title could be is covered in poop. I'd love to give a good talkin' to the poopyhead that wrote this book because it SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS.
