The Husband’s Secret had a premise that immediately pulled me in. The idea of burying your husband & then seeing him a few weeks later is such a compelling setup, & it definitely made me want answers. The story started strong, but the pacing slowed down for me in the middle, & I found myself wanting a little more tension & a few more surprises. I also had a hard time connecting with Brenda, and the romance subplot didn’t work as well for me as I’d hoped. Still, I liked the premise.
