A phenomenal origin story of the Flash. I loved how his trauma from the tragedy of his mom has played a big part of his growth, and how he used her words as the beacon of hope that helped him become the hero he was always meant to be. His relationship with Iris is so well done and the story makes it crystal clear why he's so in love with her. I also liked how in this origin, his first villain was his exact opposite, a villain that takes away speed and slows things down in the Turtle. However, my favourite part of the comic is the time loop with his older self and the older version of the turtle. That, along with other illustrations of Barry's powers did an amazing job in expanding on the Flash's abilities and capabilities.
