About this ebook

Part 3 of the Touchstone Trilogy.

Ā

Cassandra Devlin doesn’t know what she's for.Ā  But she knows she's running out of time.

Ā

Since Cass was rescued from the abandoned world of Muina,
the Aussie teen has proven more than useful to the people of Tare.Ā  Expeditions to their home world no longer end
in slaughter.Ā  The teaching city of
Kalasa has been unlocked.Ā  After years of
searching for answers, they are starting to make progress.

Ā

But space is tearing itself apart.Ā  Ionoth attack in ever-greater numbers.Ā  And "the useful stray" has been
injured so many times that the Tarens hesitate to use her for fear of losing
her.

Ā

With one particular Taren now her most important person,
Cass is determined to contribute everything she can, and hopes to find some
answers of her own.Ā  What is the link
between Muina and Earth?Ā  Why are the
reclusive Nurans so interested in 'rescuing' her?Ā  And what role in the crisis do the inhuman
Cruzatch play?

Ā

Can Cass keep herself together long enough to find out?

A wonderful series and a fantastic book, but it just sort of dribbles off... Climactic resolution is just confusing. I still have no idea what actually happened. Dissatisfied after so much world building and in-story theories thrown around by characters. Eh.

I've barley slept for days so I could read the series and am happy with how it ended. Would not mind reading a follow up letter to earth though.

The final book in the series and it ended well. Loose ends were tidied up and I got to see what was going to happen to the characters in the future which was nice. I'm still not a fan of the first person narrative but if they all read like this series I'd be a willing convert. I've given the last two books a rating of 4 stars because a 5 star rating for me is for a book I finish then want to read again straight away. This book gets 5 stars because when I finished I wanted to start the whole trilogy again. I highly recommend all three.

I am an Australian author. I write what I like to read: stories about worlds where magic is real, women aren't relegated to the background, and expectations are twisted slightly out of skew.
