Going Home by Wanda E. Brunstetter is a sweet story. I thought it was well written with great characters. I like that the characters are realistic with flaws as well as good points. The theme of love is throughout the story. I enjoyed the humor sprinkled throughout as well. I like that the realistic portrayal of the Amish. They have their difficulties just like the English. Going Home is about family, friendship, community, finding your home, prayer, and faith.
