The book contains 35 exercises, including one that introduces the Tableau interface. The remaining exercises demonstrate, in a step-by-step manner, essential functions such as filtering, drilldown, sorting, swapping, aggregating, trending, and formatting. Readers also learn how to work with and manage workbooks, export results to Excel or PDF, and view, download, and share underlying data.
Tableau 2026 further shows how dashboards are created and customized using filters, layout controls, and formatting techniques.
