About this ebook

A fiercely independent woman who refuses to need anyone. A best friend who's quietly loved her for years. And one unexpected fall that changes everything.

Lacey Adams has always been perfectly capable of taking care of herself.

She doesn't need rescuing. She definitely doesn't need a man. Until one unexpected fall lands her squarely in Quinn's arms.

Her best friend has always been there—steady, dependable, and impossible to rattle. Somewhere along the way, the friend she's always counted on became the man she suddenly can't stop noticing.

One kiss changes everything.

Quinn gave up hoping Lacey would ever see him as more than a friend. Until the line between friendship and forever begins to blur. As Lacey faces a medical challenge that tests the independence she treasures, Quinn proves that loving someone isn't about rescuing them.

It's about standing beside them when they need you most. Sometimes the person who's always been there is the one you've been searching for all along.

Perfect for readers who love small-town contemporary romance, friends to lovers, best friends, slow-burn chemistry, protective heroes, emotional healing, he falls first, unwavering devotion, and heartfelt happily ever afters.

Repetitive script; always reiterating what you just read. Takes forever fdor the story line to develop. I couldn't read more than a quarter of the book.

Awful plot. Everything runs together. It's like 13 year old wrote this. Dont bother wasting brain cells reading this.

The second boring book I've read by this author. This time I just skimmed it to confirm that I will never read another one
