About this ebook
A lion shifter.
In a clan of shifters, the lions are considered most powerful and respected. Jace is headstrong, willful, has fun with women but doesn’t see the big rush to find a mate. His father lays it on the line: If he’s to head the clan one day, he needs to find his bride. He resents being told what to do.
A desperate hottie.
Gemma’s got her own set of problems, and saving Jace from a group that collects shifters for sport and research shouldn’t be one of those problems. So what made it her problem?

Short but complete. Not much of a plot. Shifter meets his forever. An obstacle occurs. In this case it's a human who wants to add this alpha lion to his "zoo". This section is very short and straightforward. It could easily be expanded to increase the action, and interest, to this barebones account. The writing is competent with promising mastery of the basics of the craft. The sex scenes (there are 2) are hot but not scorching. Altogether this is an enjoyable experience for PNR lovers.

Enjoyed reading this book. Loved the characters! Just wish remaining series books weren't so spendy. Less than 117 pages. Senior on budget.

This is a nice straight forward read. Not too much drama.
