About the author
Pastor Erika enjoys spending time with the senior citizens at Green Leaf Nursing home in Lillington North Carolina every Thursday morning. She is also the co-founder of MEP Publishing with her husband. Pastor Erika has published two great books, A Mother's Time to Heal and Sister's With Purpose: I am My Sisters Keeper. She also wrote the play "You Don't Know Jack," coming soon.Pastor Erika enjoys spending time with her family and church family. She enjoys singing, writing, reading, and outreach. She believes in the spirit of servitude and enjoys serving her community. Pastor Erika enjoys feeding the homeless and providing clothing for the less fortunate. Above all, Pastor Erika enjoys worshipping God. You can find her always giving God his just praise
Evette James is a 45 year old teacher, wife, and mother. Her greatest joy is teaching at Wyandanch High School, where she is currently the Coordinator for Special Education and teaches ELA. Evette James is number 9 in a family of 10 siblings. Her parents (now deceased) and family are natives of the beautiful island of Jamaica. Evette's love for a good story came from the wonderful tales her father told her. He fostered her desire to learn by encouraging her to read daily and practice her teaching skills on her siblings, much to their dismay. This desire to learn and teach others blossomed into a teaching and budding writing career. Evette James dreams of publishing her writings and the tales her father told her are now becoming a reality. Come read a tale written by a true lover of stories and enjoy.
AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR, LAQUEISHA MALONE was born and raised in Arkansas, where she currently resides with her family. She has worked as a Psychiatric Aide at a children's Habilitation Center for nine years and is currently the Education Administrative Assistant at the same Center.Writing has always been a part of her life. She began writing fiction stories and poetry at about 13 years of age. It was her way of coping with everyday situations. She accredits Dr. Maya Angelou for her love of writing poetry.Her poetry has been entered into numerous contests, and many of them were published in book and CD compilations through The International Library of Poetry. She also won many awards for these publications.
