Influenced by the 1904-1905 Welsh Revival, Rees Howells was a man uniquely taught of God. He found the key to prevailing prayer, became the channel of a mighty revival in Africa and was taught the principles of divine healing.
Rees Howells’ updated biography by Norman Grubb tells the story of one man who progressed in faith until his prayers even altered world events. Written with humanity and humor, this book uncovers the rich truths of the Holy Spirit.
Norman Grubb (1895-1993) was a notable missionary statesman, writer and theological teacher. As a student at Trinity College, Cambridge, he was instrumental in the founding of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He worked as a missionary in the Congo with C.T. Studd, who he followed as the director of what is now WEC International. A highly sought after speaker, Norman Grubb was often chosen as a devotional speaker at Presidential Prayer Breakfasts.
