About this ebook
"Sure, you can find cheap or free versions of classic science fiction novels on the Internet if you want to search like dog trying to dig out a groundhog, but this Absolutely Amazing eBooks volume makes it simple to own a paper version for less than the cost of lunch at Applebee's. Grab it and enjoy a splendid repast. You'll love the sci-fi tales of Andre Norton!" - Baron Rupert McCafferty, Seattle Book Journal
This handy repackaging of the Solar Queen space opera novels by Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America grandmaster Andres Norton (A/K/A Andrew North) contains the first book in the series, Sargasso of Space. It recounts the adventures of Dane Thorson, a lanky young Cargomaster Apprentice on the Solar Queen, a battered tramp spaceship classified as a Free Trader. Reporting to Cargomaster Van Rycke, Dane is an enthusiastic, yet still awkward, space recruit out for the challenge of a lifetime as the crewmen bang about the universe like futuristic long-haul truckers -- giving no second thought to danger. With nearly two-dozen new illustrations.
