When a gathering at a clifftop estate leads to murder troubled detective James Leach and Superintendent Battle must unravel a web of secrets and jealousy—before another victim falls.

What is the connection among a failed suicide attempt, a wrongful accusation of theft against a schoolgirl, and the romantic life of a famous tennis player?

To the casual observer, apparently nothing. But when a house party gathers at Gull’s Point, the seaside home of an elderly widow, earlier events come to a dramatic head. As Superintendent Battle discovers, it is all part of a carefully laid plan—for murder.

As a true addict of Ms Christie I read this story in 1 day. It was just complicated enough to obscure the finish but still moved along at a quick pace. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

I recently finished reading the novel Towards Zero and it was quite an enjoyable read. I haven't seen the limited streaming series of the same novel yet but I know the book will have had more details in it than the entire series itself. Still, I'm looking forward to watching the show just for entertainment purposes, nothing else. Towards Zero is simply top-notch, grade-A quality work from the Queen of Mystery herself, Agatha Christie.

Agatha Christie delivers as always a wonderful story. The character development and the subtle nod to our favorite detective made it a great read.
