About this ebook

The explosive conclusion to the New York Times –bestselling trilogy. Over six million copies sold of the action-packed children's fantasy series!

Three years have passed since the magician Nathaniel helped prevent a cataclysmic attack on London. Now an established member of the British government, he faces unprecedented problems: foreign wars are going badly, and rebellion is fermenting among the commoners. Increasingly imperious and distracted, Nathaniel is treating Bartimaeus worse than ever. The long-suffering djinni is growing weak from too much time in this world and is nearing the end of his patience.

Meanwhile, Nathaniel's longtime rival Kitty has been stealthily completing her research on magic, demons, and Bartimaeus's past. She has a daring plan that she hopes will break the endless cycle of conflict between djinn and humans. But will anyone listen to what she has to say?

In this glorious conclusion to the Bartimaeus trilogy, the destinies of Bartimaeus, Nathanial, and Kitty converge once more. For the first time, we will learn the secrets of Bartimaeus's history and get a glimpse into the Other Place, as together the threesome faces treacherous magicians, a complex conspiracy, and a rebellious faction of demons.

"[A] potent ending that is at once unexpected and wholly earned." — Publishers Weekly (starred review)

This was definitely my favorite book in the trilogy!! I have yet to find books that i like more than these three :-D i love bartimaeus's witty humor, how easily annoyed Nathaniel gets, the way deep down they both feel that the other is important! Ahhhhh its just too good!! I went into a deep depression wen it was over :(. A must read, along with the other two!!!

The close to an excellent trilogy. Characters are strong, and multifaceted. Story is rich and exciting. I can't wait until my son grows up so he can read and enjoy this as well.

Love the whole series, they suck you right in and feel for the characters be it good or bad. Bartimaeus`s character though is so well built its hard to top.
