I detest cliffhangers. It's a lazy authors way of trying to get readers to buy the next book but no writer worth their salt uses it. Instead they allow a natural ending in keeping with the written tale. The story creates its own compulsion to continue. And I get very resentful when one is thrust onto me. In retaliation I never award two or three stars.

This story is dual POV, well written, and the intriguing, fast-paced beginning of a paranormal romance trilogy that, sadly but reasonably, ends on a cliffhanger. I picked it up purely on the strength of its authors (I loathe cliffhangers) and I was not disappointed. Now I’m waiting on tenterhooks for the next two because this world and these characters are enthralling!. I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first in the "Werewolves of Wallstreet" trilogy. It does end in a dreaded cliffhanger so be prepared to wait to see what happens in the next installment. This is a good paranormal read and office romance type theme. The story is about Brick and Madi. He takes alpha to a new level and can be a bit of a jerk. Madi holds strong and takes what he dishes. I look forward to reading on and see how their story develops.
