About this ebook
Barbara Hagen has admired Queen Elizabeth II for a long time. She was truly a wise woman as well as strong. She inspired Barbara to live her dreams with courage and grace. Poetry for My Queen shares heartfelt poems that honor the late Queen Elizabeth and praise her for her Christian faith and lifelong service to her people. Poems praise more earthly things, as well, like the queen’s beauty and British accent. Barbara’s words show how Queen Elizabeth was the perfect example of a Christian monarch. She leaned on God to survive painful grief, and she also tirelessly defended the royal family. Imagining what the queen might say if she were still with us, Barbara shares Elizabeth’s hopes that you never give up—and Barbara agrees. She will treasure the queen for the rest of her life as a source of inspiration. This poetry book is for Queen Elizabeth II, who will be in the minds of Barbara and so many others forever.
