The Daddy Deadline: A Steamy MM Workplace Romance

Rafferty Sloane is a beautiful disaster. As a bestselling romance author, he uses his chaotic charm, sharp wit, and unapologetic social media presence to keep the world at a safe distance. But with his latest manuscript stalling and a massive deadline looming, his publisher stages an intervention.

Enter Aurel Voss.

Aurel is Raffi’s executive editor: forty-four, impeccably tailored, maddeningly calm, and fiercely protective of his professional boundaries. He’s also the man Raffi accidentally just called "Daddy" in a misdirected company email.

When a massive blizzard traps them together at an isolated writer’s retreat in the Adirondacks, the professional walls keeping them apart begin to crack. Aurel steps in to offer the structure, strict routines, and heavy-handed praise Raffi desperately craves to finish his book. In return, Raffi forces the tightly controlled editor to finally let go.

But as the ice melts and the real world encroaches, a corporate review threatens to destroy Aurel’s career. With the deadline ticking down, Raffi and Aurel must decide if their private dynamic can survive the brutal spotlight of the publishing industry—or if this love story is destined for the cutting room floor.

The Daddy Deadline is a standalone MM contemporary romance featuring strict rules, high heat, forced proximity, and a guaranteed happily ever after.
