THE LAST PHOTOGRAPH
About this ebook
A camera that predicts death. A journalist chasing the truth. A mystery buried beneath generations of murder.
When photojournalist Evelyn Hart purchases an antique camera from the estate of a deceased war correspondent, she believes she’s found a rare collector’s item.
Then the people she photographs begin to die.
At first, the deaths seem like tragic coincidences. A rising politician dies in a freak accident. A young boy is killed despite every effort to save him. But as the body count rises, Evelyn discovers a chilling pattern hidden inside the camera’s photographs—every victim appears to be marked days before their death.
Desperate for answers, Evelyn joins forces with homicide detective Marcus Reyes and photography archivist Clara Bishop to uncover the camera’s dark history. Their investigation leads them into a labyrinth of unsolved murders, forgotten archives, secret societies, and a shadowy figure who has haunted photographs for more than a century.
But everything changes when Evelyn develops one final image.
Her own.
The photograph reveals her murder seven days before it happens.
As the countdown begins, Evelyn uncovers a terrifying truth: the camera doesn’t predict death.
It exposes people who have already been chosen.
Now hunted by forces older than memory itself, Evelyn must race against time to uncover the secret hidden beneath a forgotten town before she becomes the next victim.
Perfect for fans of psychological thrillers, supernatural suspense, mystery thrillers, crime fiction, dark conspiracy novels, and mind-bending mysteries, The Last Photograph is a gripping story of obsession, fate, murder, and the terrifying power of memory.
What if the photograph of your death already existed?
And what if someone was determined to make it come true?
