About the Author
Keylassiun Rose is a strategic governance consultant specializing in multi-species political systems, with over three decades of experience advising imperial administrations, federation councils, and transitional governments across seventeen star systems. She began her career as a cultural liaison officer in the Diplomatic Corps, where she negotiated resource-sharing agreements between species with incompatible biological requirements and mediated disputes that ranged from territorial claims to fundamental moral disagreements. Her work in the Torek System, where she designed the governance framework that integrated five species with radically different cognitive frameworks, is studied as a model of inclusive institutional design.
Rose holds a doctorate in Comparative Political Systems from the University of Centauri Prime and has served as a visiting scholar at the Galactic Institute for Governance Studies, where she developed the Adaptive Representation Model now used by a dozen multi-species polities. She is the author of over forty peer-reviewed papers on cross-species governance, economic integration, and conflict resolution, and her research on succession stability in multi-species empires received the Galactic Academy's highest honor.
Beyond her academic and consulting work, Rose has served on three truth and reconciliation commissions addressing historical injustices between species, and she played a key role in drafting the constitutional reforms that prevented the fragmentation of the Krynn Alliance. She is a native of the agricultural haven Ilara VI and maintains citizenship in the Centauri Compact, though her work keeps her traveling constantly. She is currently developing a certification program for multi-species governance administrators and remains active in several organizations dedicated to peaceful interspecies cooperation. Galactic Politics for Multi-Species Empires is her first book.
