When Jordan, an intersex gay man, meets Anthony at a bar, their connection and attraction to each is instant. I wasn’t 100% into this story at first. I enjoyed Jordan’s character, though I was not a fan of Anthony until around 50% into it. He did grow on me as the novella went on. I initially loved the friendship between Julie and Jordan. I had high hopes for this one, unfortunately it fell short for me. I liked it but felt unsatisfied by it. All in all, I liked parts of it but not the whole story overall. The mention of a pansexual character was interesting though as pansexuality (and bisexuality) are very rarely represented in media. Jordan, who has been bullied / rejected enormoualy when he was in school and later on because he does not fit the general mold., and Anthony. They are instantly in love/ attracted. But after that first meet in the bar it takes a lot of work and perseverance to come back together.each other for real. To get their hea. This story flowed naturally and was a quick and sweet read with a tiny sharp edge. Trigger might be: bullying of an intersex person is mentioned and takes place once on page. I loved Jordan and Anthony's story. It's my first intersex story, and I adored Jordan. I loved the author's writing style. Jordan and Anthony had great chemistry, and I loved how the story ended. I can't wait to read more books by this new-to-me author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
