I'm tired of heroines who are weak, mousy (the character describes her own self that way..ok she describes her looks that way but it fits her sad personality as well), and are extremely lacking in self confidence. I got to page 37 before giving up on this heroine. I prefer the chick from Legal Rites. She's plucky. This one is blah.

I love how the book keeps you guessing with the underdog heroine, one of the best books I've read in a long while. Simply couldn't put it down!
