This book struck a cord as I am a military spouse and have felt the stress and pressures of deployments as well as the uncertainty and difficulty of dealing with injuries resulting from war-time deployments and the continuing complexities of PTSD. I haven't been so deeply connected to a story line in a long time. I'm thankful to the author for bringing insight to this unexpected story within an Amish setting and for inspiring me to write our story. Deeply moving, I highly recommend this book.
