Hansel and Circe

She’s turned countless men into swine—but this one might teach her how to be human again.

On the hidden island of Aeaea, the sorceress Circe has mastered the art of survival. Men who arrive seeking her power rarely leave unchanged. Pirates, slavers, and liars are welcomed to her table with warm bread and dark wine—only to reveal the beasts they truly are.

So when Hansel and Gretel wash ashore after surviving a brutal shipwreck, Circe expects little more than another test of trust. She has learned that men are dangerous, and mercy is often just another form of weakness.

But Hansel is not like the others.

Fiercely protective of his sister, sharp-witted, and maddeningly difficult to charm, he refuses to fear Circe—or worship her. Instead, he challenges her. As the two clash over freedom, loyalty, and the cost of survival, something far more dangerous than magic begins to grow between them.

For Circe, love has always ended in betrayal. For Hansel, trust has always come with a price.

And when the ghosts of their past arrive on Aeaea’s shores, both must decide whether love is another trap or the only way home.

A spellbinding fairy-tale retelling of Hansel and Gretel woven with Greek mythology, HANSEL AND CIRCE is a slow-burn romantasy about monsters, mercy, and choosing who you become.
