About this ebook

The galaxy is in crisis, and Carrie Hatchett is the last person on Earth who should be saving it.

Carrie Hatchett is a low-achieving daydreamer. She’s been a dog walker, an ice cream seller and a birthdaygram girl—the clean kind.

After providing a good home for her butt-ugly dog and crazy cat, all she wants is a proper job and to avoid being fired again.

So when a strange green mist sucks her beneath her kitchen sink and a clerical error leads to an interesting professional proposal, she foolishly doesn’t refuse.

Soon, Carrie discovers that being a Transgalactic Intercultural Community Crisis Liaison Officer isn’t exactly what she expected. And neither is saving the galaxy.

Good story. Fun, interesting and humorous. Very improbable aliens, in the style of Doctor Who, so if you're a fan of hard science fiction this may not be your cup of tea but If you like light sci fi with humour and imagination, you'll likely enjoy this.

Well written, fun story. It has its comic, quirky side that mixes perfectly with the adventure. The characters are well thought out and I was easily able to "see" each one as they were introduced. I consider that the product of good writing. I rarely purchase an entire series from Google books, but I couldn't wait to read the next story. This series is good for readers of all ages. The mixer or comedy, adventure and drama is perfect to keep the reader riveted. It's easy to become invested in the characters. I will read all of Carrie's adventures and be sad when I've exhausted the series.

Let's be honest, I would want my planet's well being to rest on the shoulders of Carrie Hatchett, or anyone else for that matter. But the girl did good for her first assignment in space. She will probably take her frustration and anxiety out on office supplies from this day forward, but that is better than developing an addiction to custard. Good job, Carrie!
