I really loved this book, as well as its predecessor Mindflight. The writing is excellent with characters you cannot help but care about. I got immersed in the reality that includes believable aliens that are truly alien; and human telepaths whose abilities seem to expand exponentially. Am hoping Mr. Goldin has a sequel in the works! I will definitely be buying it when it appears. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes sci fi.

Once I finished the first Mindsaga book, Mindflight, there was no way I couldn't read the sequel - and it didn't disappoint. Stephen Goldin takes the whole subject of telepathy to a new level in the sequel; bringing in alien telepaths that are surprisingly different from human telepaths. The conflict between the two different ways that social telepathy could develop is an interesting and complex story line. Thankfully the author weaves the plot in an easy to follow sequence, constantly building in suspense, and - like in the first book - coming up with a surprise twist for a satisfying ending. Stephen is my kind of SciFi author, smart heros, heroines, and adversaries who all make reasonable decisions in overcoming unavoidable problems.
