The Family Next Door is a sweet story. I found the story to be easy to read. I liked the main characters, Matthew and Torryn as well as Matthew’s son, Connor who is a scene stealer. I laughed at the scene with Matthew fishing in a suit. Forgiveness and facing your fears are the two main themes that run throughout the story along with faith. I did feel the ending was rushed. I appreciated the cute epilogue, but I did feel there were a couple of details missing.
