The story shows the love, true love. It hows what will come will come. I enjoyed it but the sadly it ended. I hope too that wen will tell us if she has found her family.

I read "Sky burial" a while ago and I am still moved by the tender yet determined style of the writer. One of the best books I have ever read.

This book elegantly exposed me to Tibetan culture. The love story is not sappy and girly... it is from the heart. It is a very touching story.
About the author
Xinran is the author of The Good Women of China, a seminal work about the lives of Chinese women. She was born in Beijing in 1958, and by the late 1980s had become a successful Chinese journalist. In 1997 she moved to London, where she currently writes a regular column in The Guardian.
