Winter Trees
Энэ электрон номын тухай
"A book that anyone seriously interested in poetry now must have . . . Sylvia Plath’s immense gift is evident throughout."— Guardian
The poems in Winter Trees, published posthumously in 1972, form part of the collection from which the Ariel poems were chosen.
This collection, drawn from the same creative period as Ariel, captures Plath at the height of her power:
- Ariel-Era Poems: See the work that emerged alongside her masterpiece, drawn from the same final, ferocious creative period.
- Confessional Poetry: Experience the raw, unflinching honesty that defined a generation of poets, blending "experienced horror and icy, sardonic control."
- Landmark Posthumous Collection: Published after her death, these poems offer a vital and haunting look into the last months of a brilliant mind.
- The Poem-Play ‘Three Women’: Includes the complete radio play, a powerful three-voice meditation on motherhood that bridges the gap between The Colossus and Ariel.
