I've taken too long to pick up Wilbur Smith's novels, and now that I have, I need to read all of them in sequence. I've been transported back to a simpler, romantic time in South Africa where I can smell the dust of the veld and feel the wide open spaces poised for more adventures of men and their counterparts.
