Why Do We Feel Hot?

When we feel hot, the blood vessels on our skin's surface expand, making our faces red. This allows more blood flow near the skin's surface to let out heat. When we feel hot, our breathing rate also increases. Faster breathing helps release the heat generated inside our body.
