About this ebook
It is time for the truth to be told...
On July 2, 1947 something crashed in the desert outside of Roswell, New Mexico. An explosion of light and sound made the sheep wail, the chickens squawk, and the children scream. And then the ranchers heard a noise they thought could only have come from the devil himself.
For forty years, Majestic Agency director Wilfred Stone helped the CIA pretend the landing never happened. Then his conscience got the better of him.
This is the real story, told to reporter Nicholas A. Duke by the guilt-racked shell of the man who once worked tirelessly to cover it all up. It is a truth so terrifying that Whitley Strieber had to call it fiction.

I found the writing style switching from one story thread to another disjointed and at times confusing which intensified as I got closer to the end. I have read other titles by Strieber and this one was not as much fun for me. I found the end of the book beautifully written when it describes experiencing an alternate dimension of what seems to be an alien planet, but still disconnected from the whole Roswell, Truman, Cold War track the beginning and middle of the book took.

Story was great. but I paid twenty freaking dollars for it and it was far too short. this should definitely be priced at 9.99. Come on, Google. I'm about to switch to Kindle.

Masterpiece! Surprisingly, I believed 95%, if not ALL of it! Younger readers may struggle to follow the story because of the language & writing style of the author. I'm 34 & managed just fine. Incredible story that lines up critical information with all of the facts I've gathered over the years. There's data in this book that can be confirmed present day that was an unknown at book's publishing time. Very informative & entertaining as a true fictional title... I loved it!
