What the Rain Was Hiding

But the deeper she retreats into isolation, the more the shadows around her begin to close in.

When a calm, protective local named Luke offers safety and comfort, Rachel clings to him as her only anchor against panic, paranoia, and the relentless investigation unfolding back in the city. Yet as the rain continues to fall and the valley’s silence grows heavier, Rachel begins to realize that not every sanctuary is meant to protect you.

Some are built to keep you trapped.

Atmospheric, haunting, and emotionally intense, What the Rain Was Hiding is a slow-burning psychological thriller filled with guilt, manipulation, isolation, and the terrifying question of whether the greatest danger lies outside the door — or already inside the house.
