The other members in Miranda’s group, especially handsome Etienne, can see that Miranda is in distress. She is beginning to understand that, like her grandfather, she has a special gift of communicating with spirits who still walk the town of St. Yvette. But this “gift” feels more like a curse, and Miranda has no one to confide in. Etienne is willing, but is he really as trustworthy as he is sultry?
Now, no matter where Miranda turns, she feels bound by the whispered pleas of the spirits around her . . . unless she can somehow find a way to bring them peace.
